In addition to the information provided through the OSSREA Newsletter, the organization has been regularly documenting and disseminating to members, partner institutions, donors and the general public information on its organizational set up, missions, operations, finance, and operations through official publications such as:

The Executive Secretary's annual reports present an overview of the major activities undertaken by the Organisation during the budget year, a summery of the income and expenditure, as well as the list of publications produced during the year. The reports have been appearing regularly since 1994 and his reports to the tri-annual OSSREA Congress since 1993, thus ensuring the organization's transparency by facilitating the public scrutiny of its operations, finances, achievements and challenges. Full-text documents of most of these publications are available free of charge both online and in print form.
