CALL FOR ARTICLES
In the February 2003 issue of the Newsletter, OSSREA launched a new initiative to publish short articles on topical issues concerning the transformation process in Africa. The African Union and NEPAD have been two such topics dealt with from various angles. Our aim is to provide members of the academic and research institutes a lively forum for debate and reflection on matters of critical concern for the people of the continent.
In the February 2004 issue of the Newsletter, we plan to publish two or three short articles on land and land tenure systems. Accordingly, OSSREA members and other interested scholars are invited to contribute articles that focus on the following issues:
Land and land tenure systems in Eastern and Southern Africa
Women, citizenship and social struggles
Articles should be 4-6 pages in length, including a brief abstract. Authors are advised to include their full address and send their contribution by e-mail before 15th January 2004 to:
