1.CHAIRPERSONS'S WELCOME STATEMENT

The Chairperson of the morning session, Dr. L. Musoro, started off the workshop by expressing gratitude to Mr. Kujinga, Dr. Madzingira and Dr. Chimanikire for organising the workshop. He also extended his warm welcome to Dr. Evelyn Pangeti, who is the current President of OSSREA. The Chairperson pointed out that Dr. Simba Makoni, Minister of Finance and Development, was unable to attend the workshop as he was held up with other duties. He then called upon Dr. Chimanikire, the out-going Liaison Officer of OSSREA, to make his opening remarks.
