Membership is open to individuals and institutions in Eastern and Southern Africa engaged in the study of and research in the Social Sciences and related fields. There are two kinds of membership: full membership and associate membership. A full member enjoys all rights and privileges of the Organization including the right to vote, or offer himself/herself for election to the Executive Committee. An associate member has no voting right but can attend OSSREA public meetings.

If you wish to start or renew your membership in OSSREA, please complete each item as requested and return the form by post or fax, together with your cheque or bank invoice. Please note that the information provided in the form can be used for publication of your scholarly profile in the Register of Social Scientists in Eastern and Southern Africa. Therefore, if you fill in the form by hand, please write legibly and clearly so that secretaries can easily read and reproduce the information in the Register.
